Firstly, I should think you for your nice Ad. posts here from which i have gained a lot.
Secondly, as you said, Ad. translation needs more creative imagination than others. In some cases, it is better to create another version according to the culture of the target language.

It's good to see new members feel more confortable to take part in the discussion in a more relax atmosphere and become active participants. If you do a googling, you will see there are 42,500,000 entries for 寬帶, 1,510,000 for 寬頻, only 309,000 for 寬頻帶. By choice, I will choose 寬頻帶. By popularity, one will choose 寬帶. It's up to you. I'm not convinced, but I'm no going to contest it. This is my style. I always see things in cultural perspective, not just from a technical standpoint. Regarding "America Runs on Dunkin' ", here is the context:
What are the keys to getting things done? A can-do attitude, of course. And a quick stop at Dunkin' Donuts. Whether you need a delicious cup of coffee, a quick snack on the go, or an icy cold beverage, Dunkin' Donuts helps you tackle any task at hand.

Thanks to your vivid explanation in details on Dunkin's Donuts , I am quite informed now. I will give it a try later thoudh I have never gone through this type of job formaly.

After work(excetp for field research), there is few other thing i can do here. Before I know this good place, as I told Mr. Kevin (moderator), I have to make friends with CCTV 4 & 9 here, because of limited beer capacity, I can not hold more than one hour with African friends (they are very good at beer-drinking though it is forbidden in their religions), No Majiang to play (Even in China, I do not play it). But I like translation and interpretation. Now, you should understand my condition.
Thanks again for your posts here, which is , to some degree, somewhat like beer to my black friends here as to me.

一个客户发来去年已翻译并在一些香港台湾杂志上刊登过的一页广告供我参考,初一看其它翻译挺顺,唯有大标题“誰是第1?”这一写法让我感到有些不自在,我觉得应该写成“誰是第一?”。

以前住在北京, 当地老北京人都是张口您闭口您的. 院校里人就少些, 一般都是直呼你我.
