I normally meet up for my husband for lunch, he works at one end of the house and I'm at the other, so we meet up in the kitchen in the middle for a break and a catch-up.
If he's not around, I'm more likely to sit at the computer, but I'll normally do something non work-related while I eat.

I always try and take a break for lunch, might not be a particularly long one, but I need to get away from the computer Often take the dog for a walk as well, really helps me concentrate again.

The "Never" option is missing.
The mere thought of having lunch in front of a computer screen makes me depressed. In case of a tight deadline, I just delay or skip lunch (or breakfast or dinner) altogether.

we always eat together at lunch time. Even if it is a short break when I am busy.

I often eat lunch late when busy, but I always walk the dog first. (If I am still at my desk at 1 pm, she barks at me; her inner clock is undimmed although she's 16 years old). Then I eat lunch and return to the computer somewhat refreshed.

Quel luxe!

I just need a break at some point during the day. Generally I'll have lunch in the afternoon around 2/3pm. At that point the biggest part of my working day should be done...
In case of emergencies i eat before my computer while working, but I I try to avoid it as much as possible so it does not happen too often...
It's just as if my brain needed to stop translating for even a short moment in order to keep the quality. If I do not stop words start to elude me...

This is lovely, Mary!!!
=)
I always have lunch at my desk, but not in front of the computer. I just look around and enjoy my meal. I prefer to use my break to walk my dog, as many of you (while working from home) or to do sth else in downtown... but, the truth is I cannot skip a single meal... I need energy to keep on concentrating.... even if I'm at the booth, I need to carry a cereal bar in my bag, or sth alike...

I don't think I've had lunch in front of my computer since moving to a "non-sandwich state" nearly ten years ago.
Among other reasons, I hate crumbs and cringe at the idea of my keyboard and workspace becoming crum(b)my (...but don't we all?).
To save time, I try to have leftovers from the night before to heat up at lunch time. When that's not possible, I often make a variation on miso soup that can be whipped up in just a few minutes.

Although I rarely take over an hour, I do think it's important to take a real break away from the computer at least once during the workday.
Today, I heated up my leftovers then walked down to the post office and now I'm just about to get back to work.
Bon appétit for those whose lunch is yet to come!

I don't eat meals while sitting at the computer.
A coffee, some fruit and a bowl of water - for cleaning my hands right there aftert each grape or cherry and before I continue to work - suffice.
