Who is lying in the grave?

I heard this originally as
"Brothers and sisters have I none
but this man's father is my father's son"

Same answer anyway: it's his son.

I thought it was wordplay. Nov 8, 2021

I assumed it was some sort of wordplay/wit. But since you like grammar, Tom, when you capitalize Larger, the sentence changes the meaning vs. larger. Perhaps it makes more sense when the joke is told in spoken form.

Oh, and when I was married to one, the translator always came first.

I want both of you, I've got a big heart, and oh, so much love to give, so much English lingo to learn!

And last but not least: I saw what you did there. Good for you, Chris, good for you ...

Cassettes, CDs, and so on?

No cassettes, no CD's but LP's, if that is what you mean with 'and so on'. Or did you mean 'streaming'?

I did mean 'streaming', but I guessed you were talking about LPs: 33, 45, 78. Do our much younger colleagues know what we're talking about, I wonder?

Thinking about keyboards, how often do you trim your fingernails?

That's a very interesting poll question indeed.

I actually trimmed mine yesterday, mostly on my left hand, but for playing the guitar, not due to keyboard issues. I have to do it every couple weeks. I trim the right hand nails less often.

I do something similar (both hands) for the piano.

New question. Nov 12, 2021

If you spread fingers wide on your non-dominant hand, and then with the index finger of your dominant hand you wave your way through/between all these fingers. What does it denote in ASL (American Sign Language)?

I do something similar for hygiene reasons. I also take a bath once a month.
