Dear Katarzyna,
It was an agency who already had a proz.com account and a horrible rating and it opened another free account under a different name. Yep. But I reported them and now their accounts are linked

Thank you for posting and bringing this issue to the community's attention. It sounds like an easy trap to get into. Like you mentioned, it was by chance that they shared their VAT with you, otherwise what were the chances you would catch that they had multiple accounts? I hope the ProZ team will find a way to prevent such cases from happening.
