Weekly? That seems like an exaggeration to me. Over the years, I have had virtual meetings with colleagues when we work together on large projects (over 100,000 words), but these are rare occasions...

Sure. How long will they last and what format will they take? Some virtual coworking includes small breaks in-between where everybody socializes, while others are just a way to make sure everyone isn't goofing off. Will it always be the same group of people or will it be a random group of people each time?

I think "coworking" means that multiple people work in the same office (or the same virtual office) but each person works on their own thing. In the physical world, you either all work in a large room or you have tiny cubicle offices, but there is a shared kitchen or break room that anyone can visit at any time, or which people go to at set intervals.
The simplest form of virtual coworking is when everyone signs into a Zoom meeting, turns their cameras on and their microphones off. You can see each other but you're not all working on a single project. Then, optionally, once an hour there is a 5-15 minute break during which everyone talks to each other like you would in a lunch room.
