They send you a nice job offer, usually for translations around 2500 or 2800 euros, which would be paid immediately, they want you to download a fake app primeagefinance.com/banking, which is in the meantime suspended by google etc. They want you to pay for a VAT code to be able to withdraw your money, afterwards for a kyc verification code of about 650 euros or more ... and of course you never see any money for the translations you have done.

So this is scam?
I received an offer some days ago.
Same text, a certain Mr Martínez Fabricó by mail first, who derived me to Clifford Kwngawo via Whatsapp.
50 pages in 2 days!!! Some chapters of a book by French writer Victor Hugo!!! It surely can be found in several languages. It doesn´t make sense, don´t you think?

1. The use of titles like "Mr." or "Mrs." ;
2. Their own (ridiculous) names and/or surnames, "Ester Mellio", "Favour Justin", "Patrick Vitoria" "Paul Rodriguez", etc.;
3. The overly generous rates they offer;
4. And finally the scams that make some fall prey to them, such as having to pay to work!
There are other red flags, but these are the ones that stand out right from the start, at least for me! | |
