SDL Trados 2011 shows the source and the target in termbase in the source language

Hello,
When I add entries to my SLD Multiterm 2011 SP2, I can see the English source and the Russian target, but when I translate in SDL Trados Studio Freelance 2011 and hit Ctrl+Shift+L to insert the term it offers me both source and target in English. I've tried to look around in the settings but with no success.
Thank you for all your suggestions.
Galina

Hi Galina,
Download the MS-Eastern European languages glossary (OpenEXchange website) and see if you have the same issue.
I've downloaded it and here's the result when opening in MultiTerm 2011:
Table of contents = содержание, second entry is оглавление, can't test under Studio 2011 because Russian is not part of my language combinations. However, if it's displayed ok on a French OS in MultiTerm should be ok under Studio.

Hi Bernard,
Thank you for taking time and going an extra mile.
I'll play with this glossary when I have a little more time.
I still would like to push a magic button and fix what once used to work:)
Thank you again, I will check on it!

Galina. I had this issue too today. It turned out to be caused by an ampersand character in folder name where the termbase was located. Yes, Multiterm is that fragile. So if you experience this, try renaming the folder and the termbase itself to simple characters without any ampersands, colons, hieroglyphs etc... Multiterm requires file names to be more like DOS (restricted) format rather than in Windows (which is more relaxed)
