: I'm not sure that the LEDs are for decoration only. Nowadays, many spotlights and projectors are completely LED-based.

"HALOGEN headlights" are certainly not LED-based. And the LEDs are functional but arranged in a certain style.

: I think 'LED' is acceptable these days, it is used a lot in marketing where the 'cahcet' of something exotically English (?!) is considered an advantage ;-)
