I got married 5 years ago and moved to the State of Minas Gerais. I don't have children so far but we have plans to have at least on child. So, in short, this is my life: I got 2 scholarships in US but I thought I'd have to return to Brazil. Also, I've been invited to play professional soccer (both indoor and outdoor), but I'd have to quit University then. I've been working with technical translation for almost 25 years. During all this time, I've worked in almost every area realted to translation: translator, project manager, copy desk, etc. I've always worked as freelancer, bu...t also worked in house for translation bureaus, being a connection between the Companies and the bureau. So, I talked directly with the responsibles for the project within the Companies, in order to clarify doubts and ellaborate glossaries which are still in use by such Companies. Among these, I can name Honda Cars and Motorcycles, Toyota, GM, Bentley, Ford Cars and Trucks among others. Automotive is my main area, but I have done translations for more than 10 dfferent areas, including IT, Marketing, Medical, Software and Hardware in general etc. I'm always available for new jobs and work even in weekends and holydays. All my work is always delivered on time and my average production is 5,000 words/day for translation and 3,000 word/s day for versions (Portuguese -> English). I am available for any testing and interviews, if necessary. I'm looking forward for an oppotunity to work for your Company!
