It combines three years of studies at school (7,8,9th. forms), with another three years of study at the University college, and a two-staged (4+2) [yrs.duration] higher educational institution, with compulsory baccalaureate [honours degree] and a contest-selective two-years magistracy. Those wishing to perfect their professional skills in consecutive and synchronous translation can continue their studies via two-year post-graduate courses of simultaneous interpreting [and/or translation]. Founded - October 1, 1948 Languages include: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Georgian, Russian, Dutch, and Swedish. Obligatory learning of another foreign language, besides the major speciality Optional languages and the cultural scope of the humanities." |
