Place: National Gallery, Outsite by the glass pyramids (see the picture above).
Location: The National Gallery of Art, is located on the National Mall between Third and Seventh Streets at Constitution Avenue, NW and it is bounded by Constitution Avenue and Madison Drive, and 7th and 9th Streets, N.W
Time: Noon

I'll be there! I vote in favor of the Smithsonian Castle. While the National Gallery is nicer, I'm sure it'll be FULL of tourists and it's going to be hard to find a table for all of us.
My husband, Peter, and I think we can make it: it will give us something to do on our way to or from visiting Peter's aunt and uncle. And maybe we can stop and see Monika's new home? We'll be almost neighbors: just 4 1/2 hours away!

Hi Monica and all of you! Just a note to mention that, since the National Gallery is rather large, I believe we should get a more specific point of encounter. Maybe in front of the glass triangles that are between the old and the new building, and from there we can decide where inside the Gallery we want to meet. This is just a suggestion. I think the powwow will help you to learn more about other people’s experience, get contacts etc. I always learn from other interpreters/translators who are more experienced then me.
