français term

asecurologique

français vers anglais Médecine Médecine : soins de santé hospital pre-transplant report
'Comme il n'y a pas de probleme **asecurologique**, nous pourrions organiser le bilan complementaire sur rendez-vous dans le courant du mois de janvier...'

C'est peut-etre, encore, la meme chose en anglais, mais je ne le trouve nul part.

health insurance

Assuming "asecurologique" is a typo for "assécurologique", your sentence would read: "Since there are no health insurance problems (or problems regarding health insurance), we can..."

The term seems to be more common in Swiss French than in French French, though. Anyway, it seems to make sense the hospital wants to make sure somebody will be paying the bill, especially these days.
Note from asker:
Thank you, Cetacea. Yes, you are right, it is a report from Geneva, about an English person who needs a kidney transplant, so that may be why it has to be funded by health insurance. This word is not in my French dictionary, even with the correct spelling, so maybe it is a Swiss French term.

agree Dr Sue Levy (X) : I've certainly never come across it - I was thinking along those lines though - it's always helpful to know which country these medical reports come from!//not odd, just a little different ;-) like Luxembourgish French with its touch of German

Thank you, Sue. And I agree with you, especially since we Swiss tend to be a little, well, odd sometimes... ;-)
