I don't know if this is the right place to ask the following question.
Today, by chance, I went to my profile and clicked on 'Visitors' and noticed that since 14th October there has been someone from the USA, Virginia, who has been visiting my profile every day and several times during the day.
Is there any way to block this psychopath? I'm not sure if I need to worry much about this, but I find it scary.

I have the same in my visitors list, along with one from Oregon and one from Ohio. I also had some from Russia and from China once.
These could be search engine crawlers indexing web pages, which actually should be listed in the search engines tab.

SITE LOCALIZER | IP addresses of e.g. ISPs | Oct 20, 2023 |
Very often when this happens, it is nothing sinister, merely a generic IP address from a major ISP — so it's not the same person visting your profile several times, but rather, visits from several persons who all happen to use the same ISP.
If you research the owner of this IP address, you'll probably find it's one of the big ISPs, or some other organisation like Google, etc.

That state is the heart of the internet.
Most likely, as previously stated, a crawler robot.

I wish for them (they make you findable on the net through search engines), they just don't belong to the Visitors tab.
There is a number on the profile page that refers to the actual number of visitors, the number on the tab itself is wrong.
