I am a native English speaker living in Lisbon, Portugal. I am a professional linguist (PhD) as well as freelance translator and interpreter (Pg.D). My working languages are Danish, French and Portuguese. I have worked as a translator since 1999 and as an interpreter since 2002.

Over the years, I have translated and interpreted in a variety of different fields, but more recently have been specialising in marketing as well as legal and technical fields, principally Architecture, building/construction/engineering, IT and medicine (incl. medical devices).

I work with direct clients, particularly locally in Portugal, as well as with language service providers (for Danish and French).

I maintain high professional standards, delivering high-quality and accurate translations and interpreting in a timely manner.

As a translator, I use both my own CAT tools as well as those provided by language service providers and am open to adapting to changes and new technologies as they occur in the industry.
