Freelance translator, French mother tongue, based in Italy since 2004. Twelve years work experience in the UK, six of which in a translation agency, managing projects and working on the proofreading/revision side as well.

I have been working as a translator since 2004, for end customers as well as translation agencies. Well versed with EC and UN terminology and concepts. I specialise in the translation and proofreading/editing of documents related to Development aid and the International Cooperation, having worked for eight years in that sector.

Type of documents translated: publications & publication abstracts, annual reports, international conference reports and support documentation, strategic internal reports, press releases, information notes, factsheets, translation of CVs and general documentation/correspondence, etc.

Subjects covered: Land issues and access to land rights, agriculture, forestry; women's land rights ; rural development and food security issues; human rights and women's human rights; gender equality and strategies; WaSH sector and MDGs, Reproductive Heath, Microfinance; Sustainability standards; Evaluation of EC policies (Human Rights, Visibility, Technical Cooperation); General documents.

MONOLINGUAL EDITING: Strong experience in the editing of reports directly written in French by mother tongue and non-mother tongue consultants/experts in the development sector and other.
