Bio

Who I am

I studied English and French in Germany, the United States, France and Belgium.

I am based in Germany's most interesting city ;-) Cologne, and I will work for you wherever you are.

I translate from English, French or Dutch into German.

Translating to me means more than merely transferring sentences from one language into another. To me it means to transfer content & feeling from English, French or Dutch into German. My translations read like originals and never reek of translation.

I have a lot of experience in IT related translations: manuals for hardware and software, data sheets, press releases, etc., and in the past years I also translated a lot of fashion/beauty/lifestyle marketing texts.

I also do website translations: I do have extensive experience in creating web pages with HTML and JavaScript and doing artwork with Adobe Photoshop.

Former occupations include that of a Web Coordinator for a pharmaceutical company (Rhône-Poulenc Rorer - today Aventis), Head of Production for a TV production company (Gum Studios) and Sales Coordinator for a Cable Company (ish)
