Le Conseil d’administration et les dirigeants effectifs (Directeur Général et Directeurs Généraux délégués) constituent les principales instances de gouvernance de XXXXXXXX. Leurs missions ? Piloter la stratégie du Groupe dans un objectif de croissance durable et agir dans l’intérêt de XXXXXXXX et de ses parties prenantes, notamment de ses actionnaires et investisseurs. Sous l’impulsion de son Président, le Conseil d’administration détermine les choix stratégiques de XXXXXXXX. Il soutient la Direction Générale, assistée de son Comité Exécutif, qui la propose, la met en œuvre et pilote au quotidien l’activité du Groupe.
LES ACTIONNAIRES ET LES INVESTISSEURS
Ils exercent trois grandes responsabilités :
Élection des administrateurs (hors administrateurs représentant les salariés)
Vote des résolutions
Dialogue, échange et participation aux réflexions :
• l’équipe « Relations Investisseurs » les informe sur la stratégie, les développements significatifs et les
• résultats du Groupe ;
• l’équipe « Relations Actionnaires » est à l’écoute des 345 000 actionnaires individuels de la Banque ;
• le Cercle des actionnaires fédère les quelque 46 000 actionnaires individuels possédant au moins 200 actions XXXXXXXX;
• le Comité de liaison des actionnaires a organisé, en 2021, deux réunions lors desquelles ont notamment été abordés les thèmes de la structure du capital et de son évolution, des résultats trimestriels et des perspectives économiques dans un contexte toujours incertain.
Le principe d’égalité des actionnaires est au cœur des principes de la gouvernance. Aucun droit de vote double, ni limitation à l’exercice des droits de vote, ni droit à dividende majoré attaché aux valeurs mobilières n’est possible

The main governance bodies of XXXXXXXX are made up of the Board of Directors and the Executive Officers (Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officers).
Their aims are to steer the Group’s strategy towards the goal of sustainable growth and to act in the interests of XXXXXXXX and its stakeholders, particularly its shareholders and investors.
Under the leadership of the Chairman, the Board of Directors make the strategic choices of XXXXXXXX. It supports the Senior Management, assisted by the Executive Committee, who propose, implement and manage the day to day running of the Group.
SHAREHOLDERS AND INVESTORS
They have three main responsibilities:
The election of Directors (excluding the Directors representing the workforce)
To vote on resolutions
To engage, discuss and participate in discussions with:
• The “Investor Relations” team which advises on the Group’s strategy, significant developments and results.
• The “Shareholder Relations” team which listens to the Bank’s 345,000 individual shareholders.
• The Shareholders’ Circle which brings together the some 46,000 individual shareholders holding at least 200 XXXXXXXX shares.
• The Shareholders Liaison Committee organised two meetings in 2021 in to discuss amongst other things, the growth and structure of the capital, the quarterly results and the economic outlook in view of the still uncertain environment.
Shareholder equality is at the heart of the principles of governance. Thus, no double voting rights, no limitation on the exercise of voting rights, and no rights to increased dividends on securities are possible.

La dimensión real de este buen comportamiento sólo se aprecia cuando se recuerda que 2022 fue un año extraordinariamente complicado en todos los sentidos. Un año en el que vimos emerger un nuevo mundo, geopolíticamente más complejo y económicamente más volátil e incierto.
En diciembre de 2021, cuando las secuelas de la pandemia empezaron a remitir, los economistas pronosticaron que la inflación sería transitoria, que Europa crecería más que Estados Unidos y que el PIB de China crecería por encima del 5%. Nada de eso ha ocurrido.
La invasión rusa de Ucrania desencadenó la peor crisis energética de Europa desde los años setenta. La inflación, impulsada por la guerra, la interrupción de las cadenas de suministro y el impacto del cambio climático, se convirtieron en las mayores preocupaciones macroeconómicas del mundo. Y, por si fuera poco, la política de Covid cero impuesta en China frenó el crecimiento tanto de su economía como de la mundial.
Muchos creen que estos acontecimientos preludian una nueva fase de la economía mundial que será peor que la que dejamos atrás; que el largo periodo de mejora de las condiciones de vida, reducción de la pobreza, mejora de la educación, progreso tecnológico y expansión de la democracia se ha acabado. In 2022 XXXXXX delivered record profits, whilst simultaneously expanding its commercial potential and further strengthening its balance sheet and capital levels. Not only did we achieve our targets for the year, but we also met the medium-term commitments that we set out in 2019.
The true scale of this achievement can only be really appreciated when you consider that 2022 was, in all respects, an extraordinarily complicated year. A year from which a new more geopolitically complex and economically more volatile and uncertain world would emerge.
In December 2021, when the effects of the pandemic started to subside, economists predicted that inflation would be short-term, that Europe would grow more than the USA and that China’s GDP would exceed 5%. None of this has materialised.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine triggered the worst European energy crisis since the 1070s. Inflation driven by the war, disruption to supply chains and the impact of climate change, became the world’s biggest macroeconomic concerns. And, if that were not enough, China’s zero Covid policy slowed not only its economy but that of the world.
Many believe that these developments herald a new phase in the global economy which will be worse that the one we have left behind. Furthermore, the long period of improvements in living conditions, reduction in poverty, better education, technological progress and the spread of democracy has ended. Some even suggest that it will never return.
However, this is not my vision of the world.
I have long thought of myself as an “optimist who cares a great deal”.

La pensión de viudedad está englobada dentro de las prestaciones por muerte y supervivencia de la Seguridad Social, cuya razón de ser es compensar la situación de necesidad económica que produce a una persona el fallecimiento de un familiar.
¿Quién tiene derecho a cobrar la pensión de viudedad? Requisitos
Tiene derecho a cobrar la pensión de viudedad el cónyuge del fallecido, en algunos casos, también aunque se haya separado o divorciado legalmente.
Causantes: requisitos que debe cumplir la persona fallecida
Para que una persona pueda generar el derecho a la pensión de viudedad a su pareja en caso de fallecimiento, debe cumplir ciertos requisitos:
• Si se trata de afiliados al Régimen General de la Seguridad Social en situación de alta o asimilada, tienen que reunir un periodo mínimo de cotización, que es de 500 días en los últimos 5 años inmediatamente anteriores al fallecimiento en el caso de que fallezca por enfermedad común. Si el fallecimiento es causado por accidente, sea o no de trabajo, o por enfermedad profesional, no se le exigirá un período previo de cotización.
• Si en la fecha de su fallecimiento no se encontraban en situación de alta o asimilada, tendrán que haber cotizado un mínimo de 15 años.

The deceased: requirements that the deceased person must satisfy
In order for a person to qualify for a widow’s person, their partner must satisfy certain conditions:
• If they are registered with the Social Security System, having either active contributor status or assimilated status with no obligation to contribute, and death is from a common illness, there is a minimum contribution period of 500 days in the 5 years immediately prior to their death. The prior contribution period is waived if the death is due to an accident, whether or not at work, or from an occupational illness.
• If they were not registered, thus not having active contributor or assimilated status, they must have contributed for a minimum of 15 years at date of death.

I came to translation later in my working career after spending the last 22 years working in Finance. Prior to that I spent 15 years working in Travel. Having amassed lots of qualifications along the way, including a BA (Hons) in French and Spanish and an MA in Translation Studies, not to mention diplomas in Accounting and Financial Services, I decided to combine them all and become a Freelance Translator. Needless to say, my specialisms are Finance and Travel & Tourism.
All my previous work experience has required meticulous attention to detail, extremely high levels of accuracy and working to tight deadlines, not to mention a high level of customer service. I love research and pride myself on my attention to detail to deliver the absolute best translation that I can. It is that commitment that ensures a successful outcome for the client.
I have worked on several pro bono projects and have recently completed in excess of 40,000 words for the United Nations and 20,000 words for Proz.com Pro Bono. I am the Membership Secretary for my local ITI Group and I also volunteer as a School reader in local primary schools to help children improve their fluency and confidence with reading. I also hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
I have a chocolate labrador called Nutmeg and we can usually be seen, by anybody who is up that early, running around the beautiful rural countryside of Somerset, England at 6 am. I also love cooking, especially baking cakes.
