Originally from a small city in the French-speaking half of Belgium, I have spent the last two years working in the United Kingdom as a in-house French translator and editor. The current pandemic and Brexit have made it increasingly difficult for me to keep working in London, which is why I decided to take the (quite literally) life-changing decision to work for myself as a freelance translator and revisor.
My specialization encompasses the vast field of international development (biodiversity protection, education, human rights, sustainability, peacekeeping, women's empowerment, public health, etc.). As I have already worked with many organizations, including the United Nations and its related agencies (such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UNWOMEN), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)), I am aware of the different topics covered and their preferred terminology and style.
