I am a Brussels-based freelance translator, translating from English and French into Dutch. 

I earned an MA in Literature and Linguistics (English and Dutch), an MA in Cultural Studies and an MA in European Studies from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). 

I have been working in translation for several years and whereas I started working mainly on subjects such as travel and tourism, education/pedagogy, arts, literature and linguistics, EU-related topics, human rights, history, women's studies, development, and government, I have broadened my area of expertise over the years to include areas such as HR, environment and ecology, general legal texts, corporate communication, nutrition, ...


I work together with my husband, a translator into English. He can take care of translations from Dutch (including Flemish), French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Greek into English.
