David Palmer is a subject matter expert in the fields of language access, diversity and cultural competency. Mr. Palmer was until January 2008, a Healthcare Market Manager at Language Line Services. He was a certified Arabic linguist and translator in the US Army where he attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA. Following his military career, Mr. Palmer attended the University of Arizona and became proficient in Italian and Persian/Farsi studying under the world renowned Dr. Senzil Navid. He has worked for several major market players in the language access field and maintains a network of over 500 interpreters. Mr. Palmer is currently a consultant, lecturer and freelance translator with specialties in financial report translation, IT/software translation and other spaces.
