restitué

français vers anglais Affaires / Finance Entreprise / commerce Note on the risks posed by digital technology to a publisher
"- la gestion des risques, qui déploie une cartographie utilisée dans toutes les branches et ** restituée ** au niveau du groupe;
- le contrôle interne doté de RCI assurant l’animation du dispositif au niveau opérationnel et corporate ;
- l’audit, qui a amélioré la couverture des entités les plus contributrices."

This is from a list of measures taken by a group's various businesses to deal with operational risks arising from the rise of digital technology in a traditionally print-based environment. I really have no idea what restitué means in this particular context, but two possible meanings occurred to me:

(1) 'Filled in' - i.e. the risk map is completed using information from the entire group (this is based purely on intuition and not on any accepted meaning of the word!
(2) 'Reported back' - i.e. as the individual group entities complete their risk map, they 'report back' to the group as a whole - this at least has some basis in the traditional meaning of 'restitué', i.e. 'returned', 'recovered'.

Any thoughts? Many thanks in advance...

I would go for your second suggestion, and maybe "handed down".

I would understand "restitué" here as "reassembled" after having been broken down.
Namely a single risk map ("une cartographie" not "des ..." or "les ...") is used in every branch to assess the risks in that branch, (the "risk map" is broken down to the level of each branch) and then all that information is used to recreate a summarized/aggregated risk map for the whole of the company.

Thanks!
agree Mark Nathan : I came across "restitué" recently in a vaguely similar context and the client changed my "reproduced" to "reconstituted".

here "consolidated" sounds better
agree Jane Proctor (X) : also really like Mark's suggestion "reconstituted", but not for me to claim it as an answer!.. I like Phil's "consolidated" too..
