Editing of translated English to French SRT and rates

Hello,

A translation agency offers me 1 USD /minute to edit 80 minutes of English to French translated SRT. Is this an acceptable rate, given that it will be the first time I do that?

How many hours would it take me on average (newbie in this area) to do this?

The total price would be 80 USD therefore...

I rad on another post that 45 minutes of SRT for a newbie would take between 8 to 24 hours, but this is about editing
