A customer asked me to translate a documentary from Spanish into English and I have no idea how to charge this kind of job. It is a documentary on social issues that lasts about one hour. Do I have to charge it according to the number of words translated or do I have to take into account the time I spend on the translation and transcription?

you should charge for the hours you spent for transcripting the text and for ordinary translation. Bye
