Bio:For 2.5 years I worked in a translation agency as a project manager and translator. Our company was involved into IT translations mostly, (having Windows as the lagest client). As for me I was always more interested in literary translations. And the specialisation combi...ning IT and literature occured to be - game translation, clients I worked for were Electronic Arts and Binari Sonori game publishers.
During my in-house work thelargest, most intersting and challenging project that I was responsible for as a PM, translator (partly), editor and termchecker is Dragon Age 2. It included all ingametexts, subtitles for Russian videoads and text ads for Electronic Arts Russiansite. Total game wordcount (it's not all translated by me) was about 200,000 words.
I've also laid my hands on sport games ('Skate', NHL etc.), a hardcore sci-fi shooter 'Bulletstom' and a StephenKing-style psycho thriller 'Alan Wake', each full of specific style, slang and humor.
