Qualified as a
translator and interpreter at university level before leaving Spain to settle
in the UK; I progressed quickly into a career in Human Resources. I have served
as an  HR consultant Employment Relations
Specialist, or HR manager in various industries: real estate investment,
cybersecurity, investment management and semiconductor. The one clear objective
throughout my time in HR has always been to work in an international,
multilingual environment. I have provided HR services for a staggering number
of countries, most of the time in Western Europe, but also in Africa, India and
China.

As a natural,
passionate linguist, I have succeeded in an environment where statutory
meetings must be held, and documents issued, in the official language of the
country of employment. In addition to the languages I had the chance to study
formally, I have added a working knowledge of a few other languages I have
encountered through my employment work. Thanks to the passion I have always had
for learning and understanding foreign languages, I have been able to provide a
service that takes account of not only legal requirements, but also cultural
expectations.

After 17 years in
international HR, in August 2022, I decided to come full circle and focus again
on what was always  my passion, using my
rich experience to provide excellent translation and interpretation services.
