Bio
I am a Brazilian native, English, French and Portuguese translator with relevant experience and a solid academic background in finance and economics:
Six months studying master-level economics and sociology classes at SciencesPo, in Paris
During my graduation I carried out two academic projects focused on sustainability and business
In 2018 I acquired a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance, Economics and Controllership.
Since late 2018 I switched from a career in Business to becoming a full-time translator - up to this point I had only worked as a part-time freelancer and English teacher. Since then, I have worked in different translation projects within a rich variety: from subtitling of taxation lectures to subtitling of interviews in the entertainment industry, technical and legal translations as well as translations for companies in e-commerce, documentation, etc.
I am dynamic and like to engage in many different topics, specially when it comes to the translation trade. Most recently, I have been studying and exploring localization and copywriting.
