My name is Maria Maruniakova and I currently live in Plymouth, UK, where I work as a freelance translator and interpreter. In May 2017, I obtained my Master´s degree with honours in Translation and Interpreting with the combination of study programmes English language and culture and French language and culture.
My native language is Slovak and I translate and interpret from English, Frenchm and Czech into Slovak and from Slovak into English. I obtained translation experience during my studies and my translation traineeship at the European Parliament in Luxembourg where I translated various parliamentary texts from English and French into Slovak.
