Ashraf Nagy is an English<>Arabic interpreter, subtitler and proofreader of more than twenty years of experience. This includes roles with Arabic and English satellite news channels, news agencies, and translation/ subtitling service providers. 

AMONG these organizations are Aljazeera Arabic, BBC, Reuters TV, Press TV, the Associated Press, Deluxe Digital Studios and the European Captioning Institute (ECI).

MOVING through different media platforms helped Nagy a lot in developing excellent broadcasting and translating/subtitling skills and an ability to produce solid, reliable and high quality products in a demanding and high-pressure environment.

SUPPORTING Nagy's job was his study of English in Cairo University's renowned English Department at the Faculty of Arts and his study of media in the prestigious University of Western Kentucky School of Journalism.

ADD to this his study of English and Arabic language which gained him skills in translating/subtitling from English into Arabic and the other way around. This adds to the skills he gained in copy editing and proofreading English and Arabic texts.
