How about the Place du Tertre, on Montmartre (where all the portraitists gather) ? There are plenty of terrasse cafés and it shouldn't rain..

I would rather choose a more central and less touristic place than Montmartre.

The event will be on Friday the 30th. Whether we decide to garther at 18H30 or at 19h30 but mind it will be always a Friday night : many place won't accept reservation. That could be one reason to avoid turistical areas too, though central areas in Paris are still quite turistical.
The reason why I propose 19H30 is because I generally receive the assignements for the next week on Friday afternoon, in case I'm the only one I will adapt to the common decision. I know a nice place called "le coin éphémère" by the canal St Martin, but place du tertre sounds good too, I've never been to it so I'm easy

Pourquoi pas l'Ecole Militaire, il y a pleins de cafés avec d'immenses terrasses. Et s'il fait beau, on fait un pique-nique sur l'herbe au Champ de Mars...

Bonjour,
Bonne idée pour l'Ecole militaire et le Champ de Mars. Je pensais proposer une idée un peu semblable, à savoir le Cours St-Emilion, où il y a de nombreuses terrasses de bar, ainsi qu'un grand parc.

Le POINT éphémère c'est bordélique il y a plein de gens qui crient dehors.
J'aime bien, c'est à côté de chez moi, mais pas pour notre réunion.

Hello,
je prefere le 19eme, magnifique avec ses terraces et sa calme sans (trop de!) touristes
je propose donc le parc, si il fait beau, sinon une des belles terraces tout autour

I'll go with the flow but personally, I prefer a bar rather than a restaurant (in any case, most bars will also serve food for those who are hungry)
