We are now deciding whether the Powwow in London (24 April) will be held in the afternoon or in the evening...

Dear all,
One member has proposed the following time and location:
"What about a 5 o'clock tea? Evening would be difficult for those of us who don't
live in London (like myself).
There is the Richoux on Piccadily, a traditional tea house and central to
everyone. "
I'm just letting everybody know so that you can tell me if you find it convienent or have another suggestion...

5 o'clock tea sounds great! Richoux is fine too. There is another one in Knightsbridge. But they tend to be quite full, therefore I think it would be necessary to phone, ask and reserve.

It seems Richoux will be fine for most of us. Trying to be democratic here: Knightsbridge or Picadilly?
I wait for your answers! Together with your options, can anyone provide me with full address and phone number of the Richoux you prefer?

Yolanda, RIchoux in Piccadilly is on Piccadilly, across the road to the Royal Academy and the one in Knightsbridge is on Brompton Road, in front of Harrods.
They don't take bookings. A group of us translators tried last year and we were advised to arrive together. My sugestion: get there at 4h45 (as we did) and ask for a table for 8, let's say.

I will be in Scotland this weekend so perhaps I won't be able to answer your postings. Regarding Richoux, I prefer the one in Piccadilly and agree with Ana's idea of meeting a bit before 5pm all together... On Monday, I'll read your suggestions.
