This expression comes from a list of equipment being inspected for an industrial company. I'm not yet sure what they manufacture. They talk about gates, piping, condensers, reactors made of various steel and nickel alloys.

One recommended action is "l'installation de tombées de goutte sur tous les appareils."

It is in a list whose other items include a recommendation to write a further report and such. In other words, it's all by itself, without any other supporting context.

I haven't the foggiest. I'm thinking it's some sort of drip feed or drain, but I'm utterly unsure, and would appreciate any help. Mils mercis!
