I'm American born and bred with excellent French language skills. I have a BA in French from Connecticut College and an MA in Romance Languages and Literature from the University of Pennsylvania, where I taught French language courses as a Teaching Fellow. I have also spent time studying in France (language and letters). I completed NYU’s Certificate in Translation (French-English) in December 2009 – with courses in commercial, legal, technical, medical and journalistic translation.
My professional background includes over 30 years in American corporations. The bulk of my experience has involved financial systems implemented on interactive platforms. I’ve written business and technical requirements for over a decade, and also coordinated, supervised and edited medium- to large-scale projects using teams of four to eight technical writers.
Other areas of interest include art, museums, music, tennis, religion and ballet.
