Never more than two pages. Jan 24, 2006

Not very relevant and pretty confusing.
The "author" forgot the most important of all guidelines:

A resume
should never
be longer
than two pages,

even after a lifetime career.

Another point: Adapt your resume to the market:
For the U.S. market: Don't mention your age, it might be subject to discrimination despite that fact that your future employer can find out to what generation you belong to by checking your graduation year

Another point: Adapt your resume to the market:
For the U.S. market: Don't mention your age, it might be subject to discrimination despite that fact that your future employer can find out to what generation you belong to by checking your graduation year and the like.
For the European market: Do mention your age, not "35", but "March 29, 1975".

For the U.S. market: You'll never be top-notch enough, therefore write as if you were a candidate for the position of a CEO at General Motors.
For the European market: Be factual, exagerations boomerang.

And while mentioning your work experience - right after your objectives and before your education - do start with the most recent job.

That's it - more or less.
