I heard Songbird for the first time only a few weeks ago. Both this and the acoustic version are lovely. Such a shame.
On the subject of female singer-songwriters, I'm surprised nobody has yet mentioned (have they?) Joni Mitchell, in particular the achingly confessional Blue - Little Green is heartbreaking - and the yearning, dissatisfied intelligence of Hejira.

I've had a subscription to www.brain.fm since 2016 and I couldn't work without it now.
It's like binaural beats 2.0 - at the beginning it tries several rhythms and beats and you grade them after each session ("distracting"/"didn't make a difference"/"I felt a bit more concentrated"/"I was in the zone", etc.). With that it builds your profile with what works for you.
