Skelbiu šį susibėgimą anksti, kad visi pageidaujantys jame dalyvauti galėtų iš anksto 'suriktuoti' savo darbus taip, kad bent tas savaitgalis būtų laisvas. Siūlymai dėl datos ir vietos labai laukiami.

Jei turite pasiūlymų dėl susitikimo vietos - būtų puiku. Svarbiausia, kad baras/kavinė/kas nors turėtų kažkokį atskirą kampą, kuriame netrukdomi galėtume pakalbėti apie darbą ir kitokius gyvenimo malonumus.
Pagalvojau, gal kas galėtų apšviesti nežinančiųjų galvas apie Trados ir pan. Aš galėčiau pasikviesti angliakalbį vertimų redaktorių, jei kam nors tai įdomu.
Gal turite kitokių minčių?

Mūsų susitikimas vyks ten pat, kaip ir pereitą kartą - Vaidilos Rūsyje, Jakšto 9. Kadangi Uldžiui ten labai patiko, pamaniau, kodėl gi ne...
Labai prašau apsispręsti dėl laiko - 17 ar 18 valandą (abu variantai galimi).

Our powwow will take place in Vaidilos rūsys, Jakšto St. 9, Vilnius. Since Uldis liked it so much, I thought, why not, after all...
Suggestions re. time are welcome - it's either 5 or 6 pm (both are possible).
It would be fantastic if Valentinas brought his laptop for Trados demonstration and explanation and elucidation...

The best solution is to hire a apartment - you will have a super duper apartment for the price of a Lithuanian "economy hotel". Can help you up if needed, or you can take a look into www.nuomosbiuras.lt - there was a flat even at the same street (some 50-60 metres away) - I was looking for a place to stay for my guests in Poland, so know the situation a little ... version of Wordfast somewhere, if it helps. As for translator's office I downloaded a demo some time ago but didn't like it for some reason. Maybe you could convince me to it?

Well, Wordfast could possibly be more of a general interest (why not see "what it is all about")? But do you think it makes any sense to have WordFast if you have and work with Trados (to have WordFast just as a "simplified Trados")? E.g. I have never had a single order requesting WordFast during the recent 6 years...

O kas atsineš projektorių?
Marius teisus dėl Trados vs. Wordfast. Kas antras potencialus užsakovas reikalauja TRADOS ir niekada nemačiau, kad koks nors klientas reikalautų versti su WordFast. Padėtis maždaug tokia pat, kaip Windows vs. Linux, MS Office vs. OpenOffice ir pan.
