English-to-French technical translator with over 20 years of experience in engineering, IT, and industrial domains.
Former software engineer with a strong background in telecommunications and embedded systems, bringing deep technical understanding to complex translation projects.
I specialize in: • Industrial equipment (agriculture, construction, mining) • Software & IT (localization, help systems, web portals) • Electronics and electrical engineering • Telecoms and networking • Energy systems (including solar) • Safety and regulatory documentation
Selected clients include Ag Leader Technology, John Deere, Hitachi, Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, and VMware.
In addition to my translation work, I am a lecturer at Master’s level, teaching CAT tools, corpus linguistics, and localization technologies.
I work with leading CAT tools (memoQ, Trados Studio, MultiTerm, Wordfast) and handle structured formats including XML and DITA.
