Working as a freelance translator since 1999
Projects include:
- Market research (translation of screeners, discussion guides, market studies, interview transcripts etc.)
Wide range of topics: All different kinds of consumer goods (food, personal hygiene products, etc.), Internet, travel, medication, vehicles, etc.
- IT (localization of project managment tool, i.e. translation of system messages, captions, online help, etc.), in addition wrote customer training manual
- Subtitling (various projects, e.g. different DVD commentaries and features, various Friends and Ally McBeal episodes)
- Interpreter for U.S. Army (hazardous waste managment seminars), translation of training manual; translation of contaminated soil study, translation of HM, HW, and Spill Response Course Handbook

When translating Ge->En, I am working together with my partner, Lora Stephan (http://www.proz.com/translators/45361), a native English speaker, who proofreads and edits all my work.
