Bio
My name is Ana but I'm also known as Decka. I studied Translation & Interpretation at Mackenzie. I'm graduated in Arts Education and I've been traveling all over the world, teaching and translating for big enterprises and also in private. I translated many books and magazines, such as Magie, from French to Portuguese by the Brazilian Editor Ondas Publishing, and worked as an interpreter in Switzerland and France for Editora das Artes and also translating important documents that were crucial for a first contact with clients in Europe with the projects that were then established by the editor in Brazil. I also worked in important International Fairs such as Comdex, this time with clients from Korea and China, establishing a good report between different lines of languages and performing with maximum excellence according with everyone to whom I got into contact.
So much so that they decided I would be their official translator and gave me an assignment: to write, translate and send letters to the potential clients to keep in touch, more like a secretary office work directly from Asia to Brazil, to which I obbeyed with no hesitation. In Chile I translated a book about handcraft and arts from Sebrae. I also write and translate my own books from French to English into Spanish and Portuguese! Here is the link: My Books
As you can see my passion for languages goes a long way...
I translated books from English and Spanish to Portuguese such as How to Break Into TV Writing by Gray Jones, Shoot Your Novel by C.S. Lakin and Think Like a Genius by Raimon Samso. I also translated my own books, such as The Witches of Avignon (aka "As Bruxas de Avignon") and Out Of Thin Air (Do Nada) which are now available in many venues around the globe, at Barnes & Noble and Kobo, also the bestseller "A Esperança do Tibete". My translations have received many kudos HERE
