@ José Yes, but what you seem to be failing to realize is that 'plot' in that sense refers to 'storyline' etc. — the plot of a film / play / book, "the plot thickens", etc. Or possibly even a plot to overthrow the governement...
None of which meanings seems really to have a great deal to do with this pictorial work by Toulouse-Lautrec... in which it is clearly describing something about the type of technique used (perhaps this is a lithography-specific term?)

@ Asker I was wondering if it was anything to do with the kind of 'grid' sometimes used when one wishes to copy an image, often with enlargement etc.?
It would help to know what 'crachis' is? And what this piece of art looks like?

I think trame may be frame or screen, in the printing sense.

@ José It is a little simplistic to baldyl state that "trame is plot in English" — it can have very many other meanings in differing contexts, and 'plot' is by no means one of the commonest.
In addition, you seem to be overlooking the common inversion of word order between FR and EN: on the face of it here, 'report' qualifies 'trame', not the other way round; so even if your lexical choice were correct (which I seriously doubt), it would be more like 'report plot' in EN.
