conditions d'appropriation

français vers anglais Autre Development/humanitarian aid
From an evaluation report on humanitarian aid:

"les conditions d'appropriation et de réplicabilité du projet"

I think this means that the beneficiaries can take over the project and 'own' it for themselves. Is there a specific expression for this used in the development field? "Conditions in which the project can be owned/taken over and replicated" ??

conditons of appropriation

I think "appropriation" in English has the same meaning as it does in French.

Sorry, there is a typo there. It should be \"conditions of appropriation\". And of course, your comprehension is correct.

\"les conditions d\'appropriation et de réplicabilité du projet\" should be translated as \" the conditions of appropriation and replication of the project\" in English.

I also think the English equivalent of \"réplicabilité\" is \"replication\".

According to the \"Canadian Oxford Dictionary\", \"replication\" is equal to \"replicability\" in English which you may also consider to use in this case.

Accordingly, the best English version for \"les conditions d\'appropriation et de réplicabilité du projet\" is \" the conditions of appropriation and replicability of the project\" in English.

In rendering formal reports, we need to do word-for-word translation , don\'t we? Hope it helps. Thanks.
