Hello everyone,
I'm translating a series of powerpoint presentations concerning radiation safety (for work with ionising radiation in the UK). On one of the slides, entitled "Travail en Tenue Etanche Ventilée", there is a picture very similar to the one shown in this link (but not as funny): http://www.ohio.com/news/top-stories/atomic-duds-1.188168
I'm having trouble translating "tenue étanche ventilée". From as best as I can tell, the suit is made of vinyl and is somewhat transparent. All of the seams are sealed to protect the worker from breathing in radiation or coming into direct contact with radioactive material. Finally, air is pumped into the suit via a hose and therefore, the suit becomes inflated.
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think this is a hazmat suit - to me it looks more like a Mururoa Suit.
I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could give me on how to translate this.
