français term

TVI

français vers anglais Médecine Médecine : cardiologie cardiac catheterisation
This is a report on cardiac catheterisation in which the route of the catheterisation is described entirely in acronyms. Most I've decoded but there are a couple that still have me flummoxed, including this one right at the start... something "veine inférieure"? Any advice much appreciated. TIA!

Discussion

Sarah Walls (asker) May 3, 2008:
No, Rachel, it's not an ECG report but I think you are spot on -- have just checked on Google and found a reference giving the innominate vein as a starting point for cardiac catheterisation. So that fits. Many thanks.
Rachel Fell May 3, 2008:
not in ECG, is it?
