"des deux reins (avec une minime hypotonie des cavités pyélocalicielles)". I think it's referring to the kidney calyces...would it be oversimplifying to simply say "minimal hypertonia of the calyces"? Very few hits for "pyelocalicial" on Google, so it doesn't seem to be used much in English. Any advice? TIA.

"cavities" is OK but not used as commonly as system.

"pyelocalyceal" and "pyelocaliceal" used less frequently by native English speakers than "pelvicalyceal" IMO

RUP confirmed integrity of the pyelocaliceal cavities and did not demonstrate
any obstruction, in particular no stones.

calyces and renal pelvis

Les calices sont les cavités qui débouchent dans le pelvis renal. Pyelo se rapporte au "renal pelvis", terme (utilisé par Novartis) pour le canal rénal principal appelé 'bassinet' en fr. (pyelo en grec). Je suppose qu'ils veulent parler de l'ensemble des calices et du pelvis rénal. Quant aux "sinuses" ils s'appellent des hiles en fr. selon Larousse.
