Asker On this forum we (of old) consistently hark: context, context, context....
Some of us can sing it
Without it, we are utterly adrift
Pritha Bhatnagar (asker) Feb 24, 2017:
The section header in French reads "Textes dans les contrats". It is followed by the following text and then the table "ci-dessous les textes de contrats au niveau entête, au niveau poste et ceux à reprendre dans les appels sur contrat. Les textes précédés d’une étoile ‘*’ sont à recopier dans l’appel sur contrat." I believe it is a table of clauses/paragraphs for drafting contracts...

@Asker The information that you have now supplied does, obviously, make it clearer. However, you really should post the French original text that you have translated as "Texts in the contracts". Also, what is the purpose served by the table: is it a list of actual contracts, a table of clauses/paragraphs for drafting contracts ... ?

Unfortunately, I do not have a sentence to share with you all since this comes from a table from a section named "Texts in the contracts". The term appears under the section "Texte poste contrat" and the full term is "*Référence Contrathèque". Hope this is clearer... thanks for all your inputs...
AllegroTrans Feb 22, 2017:
Well the asker could provide the sentence, it shouldn't be necessary for us to guess at what it may be
AllegroTrans Feb 22, 2017:
Asker please post the complete sentence containing this

(Standard) contracts library

I'm not altogether in agreement with the answer to the previous (Spanish) question, because that could mean a database of clauses from which contracts can be compiled, rather like picking chocolates for a box.

This is the correct context for my question, thanks... if I gather correctly from the Spanish entry, it is called a contract database, would you agree?
