Yes that's highly likely, that they're covering their bases by specifying the report in its present form.

SafeTex and Daryo may both be on the right track in that the meaning may just be that the report was sent in its present format, the idea being that whatever other formats existed then or may exist later, this was the one sent at the time.

Because auditors must dot all their i's and cross all their t's, even in words that contain no i's or t's or that haven't been typed yet :-)

relevant bit is the form in which this report is presented, and the possible existence of the same report in another form. Like the same report printed on paper [sur support de restitution] and in the original form as a computer file. Any indication of that happening - the same report presented on two different supports?
