neutral  philgoddard: An acquisition IS a transfer. // Other languages treat sale and purchase as two separate transactions. English doesn't. It's one or the other, depending on which party's perspective you view it from.

  -> They are not the same thing, just like "purchase and sale" are not the same thing.

agree  neilmac: As I see it, cession/acquisition are two opposite sides of the same coin, so I think it prudent to keep this in the translation.
