access chamber Explanation: could be. Check out http://www.pavingexpert.com/drain04.htm#anim, especially the 'How to...' animation. I was also thinking along the lines of inspection chamber or inspection port, but don't have enough context to narrow down the search. |

See comment below... Explanation: I suspect your hunch is right, and it's one of those glass bowls used to see if there is water in the oil, etc. --- or maybe just a glass 'pass-through' section let into the pipework. I'll sleep on it and rack my brains to see if I can drag up the proper term for you, but don't hold your breath...! |

fly-by viewer Explanation: I am very sorry if this is not what you are looking for. Since CAD is a program, this refers to a graphic on the computer screen, not a mechanical part. "Quickly view the design data for each item in the piping system by pointing to the object and viewing the details in the fly-by viewer at the bottom of the window. Point to an item on the piping schematic and see detailed results in the fly-by viewer located at the bottom of the PIPE-FLO window. " Calculate the throttle valve positions needed to balance the circuits in a piping system. Size flow meters and balancing orifices and see how they affect the operation of the total piping system.
