to offer Explanation: is what it sounds like, but purely a guess on my part, as I couldn't find an appropriate translation in any of my dictionaries -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 9 mins (2003-11-27 10:27:31 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- one of the dictionary definitions is \"to be built against\" so perhaps \"the company reserverves the right to draft the contract for the specific partner of its own choice...\" or words to that effect |

endorse Explanation: I often have problems with this term, which refers to the notion of financial backing or support. Here, it would seem that they mean "reserves the right to arrarnge for a third party of XXX's choice endorse the agreement or contract." If this is an insurance contract, the meaning may be slightly different. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 mins (2003-11-27 10:33:47 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- \"for a third party... to endorse\" is what I meant to write. |
