The Troncoso Unwin brothers and sisters have been raised in Chile by a Brit mother. Four of us work together in translation, providing availability and flexibility. We also work with a wide network of native translators into English, French, Portuguese and other languages.
We also provide interpretation, both simultaneous and consecutive.
In 1973 the family moved to Brazil, thus making us proficient in Portuguese. The younger children made most of school in portuguese, and Rosario came to be an official translator for the State of Sao Paulo. Pablo, the youngest brother finished school in Sao Paulo and moved to Chile to study Engineering. Renato Fogaza d'Almeida, our in law, a Brazilian lawyer and ingineer also work with us as translator. So we count with three native speakers of Portuguese in our team.
Carolina made all her Elementary School in English, in an American Catholic School. Later she graduated from High School in New York State, after a year living and studying in the US.
After studying Translation and English, she has spent some time living and working in the US and France. She is based in Santiago
Francisco studied Philosophy in Chile, enjoyed residence in Brazil with the family and later moved to Belgium to study a M.A in Education Psychology.
He has spent more than 10 years working in Foreign Affairs, mainly in the Chilean Economic Develompent Agency (CORFO), where he was head of International Relations. He is a professional Conference Interpreter and Translator |
