I have spent thirty-two years turning all sorts of French texts into very readable, very smooth English.

I can tackle a wide range of subjects, and specialise in the following areas: literature and poetry, sociology, philosophy, art and fashion, the humanitarian sector, editorial, governance, tourism, football, popular culture, beauty and cosmetics, food, third sector, public and press relations and general business (sales, marketing, distribution, advertising, etc.). I can also translate and edit Spanish texts that fall into these areas.

What I aim for when I translate is perfection: translations that do not sound like translations. A great deal of careful interpretation and rewriting therefore goes into my translation work, nourished by my work as a fiction writer (of novels, flash fiction and poetry). I adopt this approach with every translation project, from one-page articles to full-length books, such as ALOE, Le Foot, Humans and their Errors and Digressive Society.
Pricing is per source word and my rates are very reasonable, with discounts for large volumes and NGOs.
